From September 23 to 29, 2024, Prof. Bo Feng, Dean of Soochow University Business School, was invited to participate in the AMBA (Association of MBAs International) and BGA (Business Graduates Association) Latin America Annual Conference held in Brazil. The conference brought together business school leaders, scholars and industry experts from around the world to discuss the latest trends and directions in business education.

The conference covered a number of important topics related to reputation management of business schools, technology and innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, leadership development, and the development of business education in Latin America. During the conference, experts and scholars from all over the world shared the latest research results and practical experiences in their respective fields through keynote speeches, group discussions, etc. In the afternoon of September 26, Prof. Feng Bo, Dean of the School of Business of Soochow University, was the guest of honor to share the current situation of the development of Soochow University's business education, the characteristics of the MBA program, the college's industry-academia-research cooperation and the integration of industry and education.

Through this visit, the College was able to understand the trend of the development of high-level business schools in the international (mainly in Latin America), have face-to-face communication with the key persons in charge of AMBA&BGA, communicate with the accreditation experts and instructors to promote the international accreditation work, have in-depth exchanges with the deans of the first-class business schools in the Latin American region and other countries and regions participating in the conference, the key persons in charge of the MBA program, etc., and have detailed discussions on the potential of international cooperation. The potential of international cooperation was discussed in detail.

Our School of Business was officially accredited by BGA Gold in February 2023, and is now in full swing with the AMBA International Accreditation process. As a core part of the development strategy of our business school, AMBA international accreditation plays a key role in improving the quality of education and international influence. This visit has further expanded the international cooperation channels of our business education programs, built a bridge between our university and the top business schools in Latin America and even the world, enhanced the visibility and attractiveness of our university in Latin America, and further strengthened our ties with international accreditation bodies such as AMBA, laying a solid foundation for the high-level internationalization and high-quality development of business education in our university.
