In order to strengthen the teaching effect of our MBA “Resource Marketing” course and enhance the understanding of the students on the utilization of enterprise resources and marketing strategies, in the afternoon of May 11, 2025, led by Ling Wenbin, the tenured director of SUU, adjunct professor, and professor of industry in Jiangsu Province, the MBA students of Soochow University of the class of 2023 went to Southeast Elevator Company Limited, which is located in Wujiang, Suzhou. The activity discussed in depth how enterprises realise resource integration and effective marketing through a combination of visits and studies and expert lectures.

Through the detailed explanation, they got a comprehensive understanding of Southeast Elevator's development history, core business, technological advantages and many national qualifications and honors. From a traditional manufacturing enterprise at the early stage of its establishment to a modern intelligent equipment manufacturing enterprise with independent intellectual property rights and products exported overseas, the students were deeply impressed by the growth trajectory of Southeast Elevator.


In particular, the curator introduced the enterprise's innovation achievements in the segmented fields of green energy-saving elevators, barrier-free elevators, and elevators for rail transportation, and demonstrated the company's core competitiveness in product research and development, quality control, and service system. Through this visit, the students not only deepened their knowledge of the elevator industry, but also had a more intuitive feeling of how the enterprise builds brand value and integrates internal and external resources to achieve sustainable development.

In the lecture hall of the Southeast Elevator, Ms. Jia Ruoxu, Executive Director of the Institute of Community Digital Economy, gave a wonderful lecture with the theme of “Intelligent Management and Effective Marketing Model Based on Digital Decision Making” to the students. Community Digital Economy is a sustainable business solution based on community, which involves the concepts of digital industrialization and consumer capitalization. Its core is human-centered, beyond the traditional product-centered business model, emphasizing the digital transformation from product marketing to human-centered. Combined with the current trends in the development of the digital economy, President Jia systematically elaborated on the opportunities and challenges faced by enterprises in the process of digital transformation. She emphasized that in today's digital economy, data has become a new type of production factor, and the management decisions and marketing strategies of enterprises must be based on the in-depth mining and scientific analysis of data. Through a number of practical cases, Dean Jia explained how to use big data for user profiling, market prediction and personalized marketing, so as to achieve efficient allocation of resources and precise placement.
